J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr. fame is back with an incredible new release under the name Heavy Blanket. J joins longtime friends Johnny Pancake and Pete Cougar for six songs (one that dates back to 1984) that shred harder, wail louder, and generally melts your face even more than ever before. Heavy Blanket is available May 8th through Outer Battery Records. The release is on CD, a white vinyl issue limited to 1000 copies, and a now sold out purple wax that was limited to 200 copies. The LP can be purchased here for $18.98 plus shipping.
