Talk Talk, the English music group active from 1981-1991 recently reissued their stunningly beautiful fifth and final album Laughing Stock through Ba Da Bing! Records. This album took over a year to make, alienated pop fans of their earlier material, and only was appreciated with time. Talk Talk consisted of band members: Mark Hollis (Vocals), Simon Brenner (Keyboards), Lee Harris (Drums), and Paul Webb (Bass Guitar).
Starting out as a synth-pop band Talk Talk produced an enchanting, otherworldly, surprisingly gentle, but impressively moving last album. The first pressing of this rare and sought-after album goes for well over $100 online. You can now get a immaculate pressing, that has been getting all positive reviews on sound quality, for only $16.
