Bradford Cox's (of Deerhunter) side project Atlas Sound has a new album on the horizon. Parallax(Pre-Order)is set to be released on November 8 with 4AD Records. Produced by both Bradford and Nicolas Verhes, Parallax was recorded at the Rare Book Room in Brooklyn, N.Y. in June 2011. The cover artwork and photos come from Mick Rock, the legendary photographer best known for his work with David Bowie.
Terra Incognita is the first single from the upcoming album. Since it's initial internet leak, Amplifiers, Modern Aquatic Nightsongs, & Te Amo have surfaced, which can be found most conveniently on Pitchfork.com. You can also listen to Terra Incognita @ http://4ad.com/parallax/ Keep it on the down low but there is a hidden track entitled Oh Ricky! in a secret link some where on the webpage.
